New Wendy Vecchi Make Art Stamps by Ranger Ink

Hello dear friends.  I was thrilled to be contacted by Ranger Ink to see if I would like to try out some of the new Wendy Vecchi products released at Creativation this year.  Most of you know that our lives have been turned upside down these days dealing with our daughter's cancer diagnosis, but between the craziness I found a day to make a few cards and am happy to share one with you today.  A quick update to let you know that Sydney's treatment has been extremely difficult on her, with one complication after another, BUT she is in remission!  Praise the Lord!  The next two years of treatments will to keep the leukemia from returning.  We truly appreciate your prayers during this time.

I shared my unboxing on Instagram HERE.   These are the six new colors of Make Art Blendable Dye Ink Pads.  I wanted to label the sides of mine and shared the steps HERE.  I've ordered the other colors and can't wait for them to arrive!

I've also been super excited about the new makeup style brushes folks are using for ink blending.  I ordered a very cheap set on Amazon for $7 (HERE).  I LOVE the results.  I made this blended panel using Potting Soil, Buttercup and Tea Rose Make Art Blendable Dye Ink Pads.

I used the same colors to stamp my flowers and butterfly from the Country Flowers set and cut them with the dies included in the set.  Seriously guys, what a great value these stamps, dies and stencil sets are!  The whole collection for $15 US.  I framed my panel with a border of Wendy's new washi tape.  As a final touch, I cut a piece of embossed 3D wood grain paper in the shape of a planter.  The sentiment was stamped from the A Million Thanks set.  A bit of twine finishes the card.

Thanks for looking and have a happy crafty day!  Hugs, Autumn

Oh, Autumn, this card is stunning! I love those beautiful flowers and your blended background is wonderful! Thanks for the link to the brush. Do they wash well or do you recommend getting several for different color groups? On a personal note, All Praise and Thanks to God for the quick remission! You can take another breath now. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Debbie, that's a great question. The dye inks I've used don't soak into the bristles of the brushes like they do into foam used on most blending tools, therefore as soon as you've wiped the color onto your paper the bristles are virtually clean and you can go from color to color easily. Cool right!!! :)

A lovely card using Wendy's new inks - I've purchased some but have yet to crack them open! So many supplies so little time! You've blended the colors so nicely here and your flowers are beautiful layered over the background. So pleased to hear that Sydney is in remission and I hope her break from chemo allows her to feel better. xx

At last I get a moment to pop on by and take in another beautiful creation, we have missed you. I'm so tempted to that stamp set, it really appears to be one of those go to sets. Those colours blend perfectly. A wonderful created card. So glad to hear that Sydney is now in remission, she has been through so much with her treatment. It must be an incredible blessing for you all.
Sending Hugs your way, thinking of you all Tracey xx

Lovely card full of the colours of spring, Autumn! I love the planter too, that 3D embossing folder is fantastic. I didn't have a lot of time since the beginning of the year and I'm not quite back into the groove either, so I now realise that I haven't visited here in a long time too! Lots of lovely makes with Tim Holtz products and I seem to vaguely recall you made TH projects for the Creativation show, how exciting!
Glad to hear your daughter's treatment has been successful, my best wishes for a prompt recovery and prompt return to a worry free youngster's life!
