For my focal point, I stamped the Merry sentiment in Tree Branch Archival ink by Wendy Vecchi. This color ink is exactly the color of kraft paper - love it! Then I layered some burlap paper, twine, pom pom fringe, and punched SU! snowflakes and gemstones (thanks Carol!) to complete the card.

A Very Merry Christmas Kraft Snowflake Card
I have really been on a DIY stamped background paper kick, so when these gorgeous new Verve snowflakes arrived I immediately began making background paper! I embossed all three snowflakes randomly over kraft cardstock. Next I brushed Distress paint along the distressed edges. Still not enough white for me, so I used a Versamark pad and rubbed it gently along the edges of the panel and added more embossing powder. I really love this look, folks!
