I decided to recreate Tim Holtz's July tag again in an entirely new way. In my first tag, HERE, I decided to swap the plaid and tissue, but couldn't resist doing a tag Tim's way with the tissue on the outside this time, very much inspired by last year's June tag. I printed an image of the cup onto cardstock, which I cut into a tag. Next I used Tim's wrinkle free distress technique to get some color down. Then came the tissue wrap and carefully cutting the coffee cup.
I added some sponging around all of the edges to further define the shapes and some stitching as well.
I love the gorgeous wrinkles in the tissue, and of course the rock star plaid! I used Tim's floral punch to create the flower and his leafy dies for accents. The coffee die is a Verve score. :) Thanks Julee!
