My sweet friend Bonnie shared this lovely felt leaf trim with me and I decided to pair it with some other natural elements for a couple of fall cards. I just got Tim Holtz's new deer stamp set and couldn't wait to get it inked up! I layered with some of Tim's vintage Christmas paper - oh how I love that plaid!
Isn't this trim so beautiful! I mounted over burlap for a rugged feel. I stamped Tim's vintage "rubber stamp company" word block over the background in sage to add a little interest and splashed with Walnut Stain.
I'm sharing with:
Oh Autumn, these cards are truly wonderful! You make me wish I had that Tim stamp now, the deer is so beautiful. I love the mix of the burlap with the kraft card and the beautiful plaid. These are a joy to look at! Hugs, Anne xx

ReplyDeleteOh, I love everything about these cards, Autumn! I love how you used burlap - makes it rugged, as you said. I wasn't that crazy about these stamps, but seeing what you did has changed my mind. The leaf trim is just stunning and the perfect touch. Awesomeness!! Hugs :-)
ReplyDeleteYour cards are super!!! I love the way you coloured the leafs. It looks like there is moss on it!! Is it embossing powder?
