Happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a new mixed media coffee card with you featuring this beautiful stamp from the Coffee Time stamp set by Darkroom Door. If you missed my first coffee post, click back for a giveaway of this stamp set! :)
I stamped my image onto paper I previously inked with Distress Inks. I do this often because I love that you can select special parts of the inky paper which compliment your stamped image, like these spotches. I cut a mixed media thinlet background die by Tim Holtz from inky paper and layered onto a panel that I had inked and embossed with an embossing folder. I sanded it lightly, which didn't work as well as sanding my Distress Oxide backgrounds on a previous card, but the texture is beautiful even without the highlights.
I finished up with a die cut doily, cut from a used coffee filter, a Tim Holtz Chit Chat chipboard sentiment, a purchased flower and loopy bow. I hope this card inspires you today!
