Hello friends! I had the best time in the studio last night playing with my ultra thick embossing enamel in conjunction with the PaperArtsy topic #6. I was inspired by THIS post by Nikki. I had several ideas, but first wanted to make sure my UTEE would adhere properly, so I did this test image and one thing led to another and I completed this card. For some reason the last time I used it it all flecked off of my project. Perhaps it was because I didn't use Versamark ink.
I stamped a favorite Lynne Perrella image onto inky card and cut with my Tim Holtz rectangle die. I was curious to see if the gorgeous stitched edging from the die would show through the enamel, and happily it did. :) I squooshed my Versamark pad over my stamped and cut card, then applied UTEE powder and heat set. I added another layer of Versamark ink and UTEE, but did not do a triple layer. I was quite happy with a double-dose.
I decided to use some die cuts that were also embossed to continue the shiny look throughout my card. The mini TH globe is done in bronze powder.
The clock is done in a colored mixed UTEE. I added a globe charm and a Prima flower over a string bundle. I struggled with this composition endlessly and once I was pleased I inked up a background panel with DI, DOX, and Lindy's for shimmer. I used a couple of ages old background stamps for further interest. I hope you like this and will give it a try!

UTEE is such fun to play with, and yes, you do need versamark to make it work properly! (The WOW emboss has been working better for me, last few times I've tried the UTEE). This is a lovely layered card, with a combination of such interesting objects & imagery. You can combine all these elements so well to make an artful card. (I wish I had the knack!) It looks like it was a real fun night of creative play in your studio! TFS & Happy Easter
