It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and our theme for these two weeks is Lace and Pearls. My lovely niece Kelsey is graduating from Clemson University (ahem THE National Champions - woot woot!) and I needed a very special card for her. I always struggle with making cards for specific people, lol! I wanted something elegant and timeless, just like Kelsey, and with an encouraging word. I chose my favorite (and life) verse, Philippians 1:6 from Verve Stamps.
"Being confident of this very thing,
that He who has begun a good work in you
will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
My crafty BFF, Sara Emily, gifted me with these Spellbinders Opulent Oval dies and I couldn't wait to use them! Thank you my friend! I stamped in Frayed Burlap. I added a loopy bow and flower and tucked in my new Yvonne Creations Spring-tastic Flora Die. Last but not least, I added a row of pearls and two tiny pearls to my focal point. I hope this gives you some idea for your own graduation/wedding/anniversary cards. Thanks for visiting!
