I'm cutting it close but I managed to squeeze in another little handmade book for the current PaperArtsy topic #11. I was inspired by THIS post by Ellie Knoll, where she used wood branches and found objects in her collage. I had found this strip of wood and thought it would make a great binding.
I drilled two holes and attached the screws to hold my manila inky paper together.
My cover has white embossing, a shimmery butterfly and a bundle of thread.
It was hard to photograph the pages, but they are randomly inked and gessoed and stamped with a variety of PaperArtsy images.
I was surprised how far my stamp stash stretched with partial stamping of several of the images - fun! I will definitely attempt making another book of this manner.
