I wish I could eloquently type life changing words in this post, but I'll let this graphic sum it up. My teenage daughter used to say "the struggle is real" and she is so right. Everyone has their junk. Mine: pessimism, regret, perfectionism. My junk may be different than yours, but the struggle is the same universally. When I saw this on Pinterest I just broke out into tears, because even in my mess God loves me just the same. Even in my weakness, His unfailing strength carries me. When I am lost, He is always the way. I encourage you today to find rest in Him. Big hugs, Autumn
“I will call those who were not My people, ‘My people,’
And her who was not beloved, ‘beloved.’”
Romans 9:25 NASB
Sending (((Hugs))) especially for you today dear Autumn, as I feel the very same need. Life throws so many curveballs at us it can at times be hard to reach out from the last before the next one sneaks up on us.
ReplyDeleteTo doubt can make us stronger, to see fault can make us more determined but we should never underestimate our own strength to be who we are as there is no other like us.
Life is one big jigsaw puzzle, with each piece being as precious as the next. Sometimes we need to close the box and walk away and save it for another day as it may all appear a little clearer when we revisit.
What a thoughtful find and your Daughter is so right that the struggle IS real but we should all rejoice in the fact that we have those around us that think and feel exactly as we do and know that at times we need those bad days to appreciate the good.
Gob Bless dear Autumn and remember you have a beautiful heart.. Hugs Tracey xx

Hugs, Dorthe
God is awesome and so is this project. The words are powerful and I'm glad you shared them today.
ReplyDeletethis is such a powerful reminder that we do not have the final say, no matter what, we need to persevere and make the most of our time, even when that means we need to pick ourselves up and simply try again... thank you for sharing my beautiful friend!

Beautifully said, Autumn! We are not meant to be perfect, only strive for it. We must try but the results are always up to God Almighty. He will reward the effort - not the results! Have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks Autumn ... I feel your pain and appreciate this reminder today! GREAT POST! Mind if I share it?? I think in today's world, we all need a reminder of who is really in charge!! HUGS
ReplyDeleteOh, precious Autumn! I love your tender heart and how God has gifted you. And, yes, like me, you are a perfectionist among other things. But God.... He has us in His mighty and loving hands and has designed us just as He wants for His purpose and glory. And He knew that you would "happen" on this graphic in Pinterest and that it would cause the emotion He wanted. Oh, that He would continue to draw us ever nearer to Himself each moment of each day. I wish I could just hold you and be with you...sharing a cup of something and remind each other that we are beloved beyond our greatest imaginations. He chose us before time as we know it, and He has a plan that He unfolds each moment of each day. Now I tell you...I am "preaching" to myself as well, precious friend! I am praying for you, and I would ask that you pray for me as we struggle along the same path to honor and glorify Him in all that we do...in His strength alone. I listened to Keith and Kristyn Getty's song this morning and was so touched by it. My Worth Is Not In What I Own...precious words and beautiful song that is so special as we approach Easter and get ready to celebrate once again Resurrection Sunday saying, "He is risen indeed!" Praise God! I love you, dear sister! And God loves you more than we can ever imagine! Tender hugs always...your friend and sister! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo perfectly stated, Autumn...eloquent and strong. I must share this as Darlene has!! Thank you!
