Ranger Archival Ink Fall Bundle with Wendy Vecchi Stamps

I'm so excited about the beautiful new palettes of Archival Ink that Ranger Ink has released this year at special bundle pricing.  I'm currently working with the Fall Bundle and can't wait to get my hands on the Christmas Bundle

I wanted to try out Wendy's Old Quilt background stamp with the Flower Pot Stamp, Stencil & Die set in Red Geranium Archival Ink.  When I stamped it out the result was too clean and simple for my taste.  But when stamping with Archival Ink, you ink over it without smearing the ink - yay!  So I fixed it up with a dip in watered Wendy's Make Art Blendable Dye Ink Pads Acorn.

The idea popped in my head one day that I could fold a piece of cardstock in half and die cut Wendy's Flower Pot to make a jumbo sized pot that could literally overflow with these darling die cut flowers.  To hide the crease, I used the Tim Holtz 3D Lumber Texture Fade.  I cut two of these, then dipped them in puddled Acorn ink.  I cut the top off of one and mounted with foam tape over the other for dimension, sponging the edges of the pieces with Sepia Archival Ink.

I used the Archival Ink Pads in Sepia and Fern Green to stamp the grassy elements behind my die cut flowers.  The sentiment is from the Letter It Thank You Stamp Set.  I will definitely be using the pot die this way in the future - what fun!
