It is time for a new blog hop featuring Graciellie Design’s Digital Stamps. Gracie’s stamps are so versatile and today I have the chance to share a tag with you using one of her new sets called Just Because.
The sentiments alone make this set a worth-while purchase. The font and size are perfect! Not to mention, the beautiful layered image is a dream!
I cut my image down to make a tag, knowing I'd layer cut out portions of the image and let them hang off the sides of the tag - fun! I used DecoArts crackle paste through a Tim Holtz stencil over my inky background, then layered and layered cutouts of the images. I tucked a Prima flower die in for some extra contrast and "lace."
My images were colored with Inktense watercolor pencils. Simple sponging around the die cut sentiment and some string and vintage seam binding complete the frilly look. These bright spring colors make me so happy!
