Obviously, all this caffeine has gotten me wired! I'm on a roll making coffee themed projects. I have been wanting a stack of cups to work with and after much searching, I purchased THIS digi stamp for $2 on Etsy from Toadstool Printables. What a deal! You will be seeing a lot of it over the years in winter, spring, summer and "autumn" variety for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. :)
I printed a "tag" by resizing THIS gorgeous vintage coffee label from The Graphics Fairy to the size of my tag. I sized the stack of cups to work with the label. I'm practicing my Distress Ink techniques in Creative Chemistry 101 and made this inky background onto the printed tag. I sponged various inks with my Colorbox stylus tool onto the individual cups. This is my favorite way to color with inks, but it's getting harder and harder to find the tips. :( Since I was going all digital, I added a printed butterfly too. The label die is by Sizzix and the coffee die is from Verve Stamps. Easy peasy!

Thanks for the links back to the digitals, Autumn! Sooooo, how EVER do you fussy cut images so cleanly? I'm looking at the inside of your cup handles with admiration LOL The shading in your stack of cups is great, and I like that they are stacked right up to your lovely black butterfly. So does that mean you take your coffee black? Or since the flutterby is black and white, it means you take cream? Never mind - forget I typed all that LOL I type faster than I talk - so does that mean I type faster than I think? LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful warm colors - the bow softens everything nicely. I especially like the sideways tag at the bottom for a pop of white! Fantastic design, my sweet friend! Hope your week is enjoyable. hugs, de
