I am thrilled to be sharing a card for the challenge reminder post at IndigoBlu today. The challenge them is teal and brown. I took liberty and used copper as my brown, embossing this beautiful scroll repeatedly. I thought I used my Peacock Feathers Distress Ink pad for the teal. The background was made by gluing two sheets of book page to heavy card, then brushing on watery gesso. After dried, I mixed the DI with water and dipped the panel into it. I dipped a couple of other pieces for the flowers.
I decided to change up my 3D flower from THIS card by adding a charm and bow in the middle, whatcha think? This simply stamped card was made with love to strengthen my faith after a rough week. I am so thankful for this promise...

ReplyDeleteThis is truly one of my favorites creations of yours, Autumn! That was a great idea to use copper as your brown and it's perfect with Peacock Feathers :-) Your stamp of choice (and application) is wonderful. I do love how your flower turned out - it still has dimension since you layered it and added the charm and bow. Just total deliciousness!!!
