Today I'm sharing this little accordion album I made for the Tim Holtz Sizzix booth at Creativation 2017. This is a TINY project, made with the smallest vignette box, about the size of a matchbox.
I created a "bumper" from chipboard, which I adhered to the inside of the box lid to keep it from moving around when the book was closed.
I layered the accordion fold to this bumper, with the ribbon closure sandwiched beneath the bumper. I made a second panel and mounted to the top for added dimension.
The flowers were made with inked patterned paper, bundled over a bit of string. I embossed the edges of the vignette with gold for contrast. The butterfly was colored with various Distress embossing powders. I found it quite easy to add the powder strategically and loved the result.
Simple stamping and tissue tape adorn the inside of the accordion book. I hope you are inspired to use your vignette panels in new ways today. Thank you so much for your visit.

I like how you embossed the top layer of the butterfly it is so beautiful-I hope to get this mini die but I always struggle with how to treat the upper layer of the larger set I currently own-definitely plan to try your idea.
