This year I aim to enter each and every Paper Artsy challenge. I find the topics to be quite unique and thought provoking. For topic #1, Pink & Orange, I decided to play with my new Distress Crayons. I gessoed a watercolor panel, then scribbled and blended away. I wasn't quite happy with the result, so I dipped the panel into Distress Inks.
I used this beautiful Lynne Perrella stamp as a focal image, layering with more inky paper, dies, washi & string. The script is handwritten and the stencil by Carabelle Studio. I'm happy to be building my stash of birthday cards for this year!
I'm sharing with:
An amazing creation... the color combination is alway a feast for the eyes and soul!
ReplyDeleteautumn, what a treasure this is! You do pink and orange like none other! It looks fabulous with the contrast of the bold black script (I do so wish I were brave enough to do that and had such gorgeous handwriting!) Clock die cut (beautiful!), tape, chit chat sticker and stamping! Knockout background and spot on design! Love it! And you, girlie! Hugs!
