Coffee Card with Background Die Cut

I am so thrilled to have shared this week of coffee loving cardmaking inspiration with each of you!  Thanks so much to everyone who paid a visit or left a kind word!  Today's card features the fabulous coffee mug stamp from the Coffee Time stamp set by Darkroom Door.

I stamped the DD French Script stamp in Frayed Burlap onto a leftover inky background.  On another inky background, I used the Tim Holtz Mixed Media Thinlet background die, then stamped the coffee rings from the coffee set.

I stamped the mug onto more inky paper and splashed with water to give some interest.  I fussy cut and layered onto my panel.  I embellished with a favorite die by Verve Stamps and some purchased flowers.  My favorite thing in all of spring is the color of green on the oak trees new growth.  Ours have yet to come, but I am anxiously awaiting their splendor!

  17. I always get excited this time of year knowing you will have a beautiful coffee themed project up on your blog, Autumn! So here I am to catch up with some coffee of my own--we'll see how many posts I can enjoy before it's time to get rolling. Love the colors on this, and the Mixed Media die cut looks fabulous to let that inky, scripty panel peek through. You are so creative! Hugs!
