Easter Cross and Die Cut Egg Inspirational Card

It is with great joy that I announce that I am now part of the design team at Scrapy Land!  My sweet bloggy friend Sara Emily is also joining the team today, so hop on over and show her some love too!


For those of you unfamiliar with the Scrap Land, the challenges are posted on the first and third Wednesday of each month.  The first of the month is an anything goes challenge and the last is a themed challenge.  You can participate by incorporating any die cut brand that Scrap Land sells into your project and linking up.


I decided to do an elegant Easter card featuring the amazing the Tutti Designs Floral Daisy Egg.  I used a second reverse cut to make a mirrored image to frame my Sizzix oval die cut.


I used a stamp set by Verve Stamps for the scripture and cross.  These are stamped in Bundled Sage Distress Ink.


I cut some of the tiny bunnies by Poppystamps and lightly sponged them and the edges of  my oval with the same DI.  To finished I cut some berries by Sizzix and layered with a seam binding bow and Prima flower.  Happy Easter to you and yours!

Christ is risen just as He said!  Hallelujah!
