Snowy Winter Gift Distress Ink Card

It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and our challenges are Always Anything Goes with a die cut brand that Scrapy Land sells.  I hope you will play along for a chance to win one of TWO $10 giftcards to the Scrapy Land store.

Yesterday I shared THIS card made with the inside of this Distress Inky panel.  I cut the window with the Tim Holtz for Sizzix stitched rectangle and swapped it out for a lighter stamped and splattered panel.

I sponged my Tutti Designs Birthday Present die with the inks I used in my background panel.  I cut my die upside down in my machine so that I could hold in place parts of the pattern that I didn't want popped out.  I used regular tape to secure them, then punched out the rest.  I liked how this added some girth to the die, but the swirls still showed.  I mounted my present and a few punched snowflakes with foam tape for dimension.  What fun!  Now come play along HERE!

  2. Gorgeous colours again and this die is so versatile, love the technique of preventing some of the cuts from popping out. Especially like the inky googness behind the parcel.
