Hi friends! Happy Galentines lovelies! I'm sharing a fun card idea with you today using the new Polaroid die set by Creative Worship Stamps with a personalized photo to share with the girls you love. I had a lot of fun creating this card, starting with an inky background made with Distress Oxide Sprays in Abandoned Coral and Vintage Photo. This die set has a variety of sizes and I used the largest and printed a 3x3" photo for the center.
I did some partial stamping with Distress Oxide ink in Walnut Stain using the new Graffiti Background stamp, then added some edging with the Sew Many Stitches stamp set - love! I adorned the card with the gorgeous new floral design by Casey Turner called Victory Blooms. I used Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral and Spiced Marmalade to color the blooms. I hope you'll enjoy making some personalized cards of your own inspired by this project!
Another fun and grungy card I made features the same Victory Blooms stamp set in a completely different way, as a perch for the darling bird from More Than Sparrows stamp and die set.
I started by using Distress Oxides in Evergreen Bough and Iced Spruce and Distress Inks in Shabby Shutters and the ink squishing technique. I began stamping with the Graffiti Background stamp and the stems of the Snowdrops stamp. Then I sponged through the Blotchy Dots and Hearts stencil with Distress Ink in Salvaged Patina.
I used the same colors plus Vintage Photo and a periwinkle color of Zig marker to color the images before using the coordinating dies to cut them. I then cut out a little tag and stamped the precious sentiment from More Than Sparrows onto it and tucked it beneath my layers - fun!
I was really enjoying the grunge and had another Distress Oxide Spray background made with Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge and Peacock Feathers. I stamped the awesome new Joshua 1:9 sentiment stamp onto a piece of it. I used the remainder to make a background panel and sponged the Diamond Floral Layering Stencil with DOX in Walnut Stain and spritzed it with water to diffuse.
To add some extra texture, I stamped the Vintage Snippets onto coffee filter and tore it to use as transparent collage layering. I hope these projects have inspired you to get inky today! Again, happy Galentines to all of you with so much love. xx, Autumn
