Lynne Perrella Infusions Stencil Resist Card

I am just thrilled about the awesome topic at PaperArtsy this go, Paint with Infusions.  I have been trying to organize my cheapie acrylic paint collection and had come across this beautiful color of aqua.

I brushed it on loosely onto a watercolor panel.  I used IndigoBlu Slap-it-on paste through a new Tim Holtz stencil.  The Slap-it-on is clear and I thought it would make a beautiful resist, allowing the paint color to show through.  It did!

I spritzed my panel and sprinkled on Infusions, letting the color run through the cracks of the paste until I was pleased.

Sadly, I stamped all of my text upside down.  These darker areas are the parts of the paper I didn't paint with acrylic.  I layered a strip of vintage lace and crinkled inky paper over a bundle of string and one of Tim's new Quote Chips, lightly inked with DOX.  I used a favorite Lynne Perrella stamp, also stamped onto inky Infusions paper.

I am thrilled about these new words.  They are large and bold and I love the white.  Thanks for visiting today!  :)

Wow, Autumn, this is stunning!! I love the gorgeous colors!! The infusion technique you used is amazing!! I'd have never noticed the text was upside down (I do that all the time, by the way...usually with papers!!) Creative and fabulous, my friend!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

That is a lovely duck-egg aqua colour, and I love the clear resist you created to play with the Infusion shadows - a treat of a card, and lovely to have you playing along at PaperArtsy again.

Wonderful ward anyway, I love your background and stamps too, it really doesn't matter! :D

Love your background using the slap it on product and the new stencil is just lovely. I didn't notice the words to be honest and I don't think it matters in the least. A gorgeous project.
