Stamp Stencil and Die Sets by Wendy Vecchi for Ranger

Hi guys!  I'm back sharing a few more makes with the new Wendy Vecchi Stamp, Stencil and Die sets by Ranger Ink.  I shared a fun video using Wendy's Make Art Blendable Dye Ink Pads on Instagram HERE.  This shows how I made the background below and many others in just a couple of minutes...

I decided later to see how I could take that background a step further and created a new technique I'll call double inking with embossing folders and shared those steps in a quick video on Instagram HERE.

See how the embossed Tim Holtz frame is lighter along the edges, but the colors line up?  Perfectly framing the blossom from the Country Flowers set.  The stem comes from the Flowers Say It All set.  The sentiment is from the A Million Thanks set.  These sets are perfectly interchangeable!

The technique was so much fun to do and I can't wait to try it again!  Also I can't wait to see how you will adapt this technique with your own spin.  Leave me a link in the comments.  :)

For another of the backgrounds I shared in the video, I decided to do some simple stamping with the Flower Pot set.  I am crazy over the greenery in this set and want to make a card to showcase each element!  Never enough time, right?

To add drama, I used my waterbrush to paint more Potted Soil on the image.  Remember, you can always layer your inks.  Keep playing until you are happy...  Here is the before.

Thanks friends and have a great day!  Hugs, Autumn

Wendy Vecchi Make Art Stamps and Ink by Ranger

Hi friends!  Today I am sharing a couple of cards with the new Wendy Vecchi stamps/stencil/die cut sets by Ranger Ink.  Wendy released four of these sets this year and I have had the privileged to play with each one.  I'm suddenly wondering why ALL stamp sets don't include a matching die and stencil set?!

The exciting news is that six new colors of Wendy's Make Art Blendable Dye Ink Pads have just hit the market!  I have to say Pink Peony is a color I have long dreamed of and haven't found a match in any other pad.  It is my new favorite pad!

But you know me, and how I love my grunge and greens and blues...  My first card incorporates all of the hues of green mixed with Potting Soil.  I used the Flower Pot stamp set some favorite dies/embossing folder.  Look at how beautifully the inks work with water...

Both of my cards use the layered color stamping technique I shared on THIS video on Instagram.  Find me at @sewpaperpaint.  The second card features the Flowers Say It All stamp set.

Here's a closeup of how the layered color stamping technique looks.  It's truly SO much fun and I hope you will try it.  Thanks for visiting friends!  Hugs, Autumn

Prima Apricot Honey Georgia Blues and Havana

Hey friends!  This post is gonna be a doozy!  LOL!  I'm sharing the cards I've made over the last month in my almost weekly play dates with my crafty partner in crime @carolinasweetlee.

This first set is from the Prima Marketing Georgia Blues Collection, mixed with Tim Holtz ephemera and dies and a gorgeous doily die from Crafter's Companion.

I am completely smitten with this paper collection!!!

And this group is from the Prima Apricot Honey Collection.  I've paired with Baseboard Frames and flower dies by Tim Holtz.

The green doily is by Stampin' Up!.

The green lace is by Crater's Companion and the white circle by Spellbinders.

The dies on this card are by Tim.

And here are the other cards I made with the Havana Collection.  They make me wish for an eternal summer...

I used offcast of die cuts by Tim Holtz and his tropical dies.

It feels great to get some projects made and be inspired creatively again!  I'm happy to be blogging and am working on doing a blog refresh, so bare with me.  Thank you for your comments and support my friends.  Hugs, Autumn

Prima Midnight Garden Mixed Media Tags

Hi friends!  I'm back today to share some new projects I made for the Prima DT Call.  I've played with the Prima Midnight Garden Collection paper pad in 12x12".  I adhered the solid patterned paper to chipboard tags and then stenciled with Prima Patina Effect Paste in Brass.  I went back over with some copper embossing using one of Finnabair's tiny stamps.

From there I just played and played with fussy cut images and odds and ends from my stash...

I am crazy over the colors in this pad!  I can't wait to play with some of the other papers!

Here are some oldie but goodie projects I've shared on social media for the DT Call...

They can be found throughout my blog under the label Prima or on my Instagram page @sewpaperpaint.  Thanks you guys and wish me luck!
