Esther Glass Keepsake Studio Dies by Spellbinders

 

Hey friends!  I'm so happy today to be celebrating the brand new launch of Esther Glas' Keepsake Studio dies with Spellbinders Paper Arts!  This debut collection is called Turn the Page and can be found on the Spellbinders website HERE, and many other favorite retailers.  To celebrate this exciting release, Spellbinders is offering the Keepsake Clip set pictured below for free with purchases on their site, and at participating retailers.  FUN!  

I've had so much fun going through my photos and pairing them with the fantastic Reminiscence Book #10.  If you've collected these collage pads previously, you will know how amazing they are!  Number 10 doesn't disappoint.  It includes half paper and half cardstock, duplicate sheets, so you have maximum options creatively.

I had a lot of fun playing with my laminator for this project and created an opening and closing page by sprinkling star sequins in the film before heating, then cutting with the Page with Flap Pocket dies.  This keeps my first and last pages from bending as I use the Dark Roast Binder.

Personally, I like adding hand written notes within my journals and really enjoyed the Torn Edges dies and Cardstock Die Cuts to make lots of flaps to tuck away my writing and add even more photos.

The dies in the Page with Flap Pocket set allows you to create waterfalls and adorable stitched edge cutout pockets.  

I used the Border Labels Stickers throughout.  Above, I've used the fab freebie over more handwriting.

On this page, I made some inky blue paper and stamped with the Keepsake Numbers.  Below I cut some of that stamped paper with the Torn Edge Card Lap dies to mat my photos.

Another flap with the Torn Edges with Tag set and the super cool Noted Details Rub-Ons.  

I laminated some of my pressed flowers and used the torn dies to cut them out.  I love how this creates a transparent layer.  Another transparent layer was cutting an envelope to make a flap for a tall, skinny photo.  

There are so many kinds of hole reinforcers, so you can punch any sized page and make it work by adding the reinforcers.  

A lot of the flowers in my book were tiny copies of my paintings, which I used to make my own personalized ephemera, such as the pot of zinnias below.

I'm super excited today because I've recently scored a batch of amazing vintage ephemera and have turned it into two free printable collage sheets for your artsy pleasure.  There are lots of tickets, milk caps and labels that I hope you will enjoy.  Both files are PDFs that you can download from my Google drive following the links below.  I use my printable images to fill my bullet journal, which I use for a written diary.  The page above was made by altering a PaperArtsy postcard that comes with every order.  I added stamping, used postage stamps, washi and printable ephemera.  The page below is more of the same, with some stamped Darkroom Door faux washi tape.  I shared a video tutorial on my Instagram page @LetterPaperPen.

Free Printable Journal Words Vintage Tiny Text

 

Hello friends!  Today I have a freebie for you, one I am very excited about!  I have had this on my to do list for ages and finally created a sheet of free printable journal words for you to download.  I've saved this sheet as a PDF, which you can download HERE or as a PNG photo file HERE.  I love using Tim Holtz Small Talk sticker sheets, but wanted some phrases I could use in my journal, so I created these with that in mind.  This set has a somewhat fall/Christmas theme and I hope to do another in the spring, so make sure to follow me.  And I would love for you to share this post or pin this page.  :)

 

 

 

I printed mine onto full sheet stickers using Avery 5165 labels.  I find these to be great for all sorts of sticker printing.

 

 

Lately, I've completely submerged myself into bullet journaling.  I find it therapeutic to journal daily and love the creative side of adding collages and hand lettering to my pages.  I've started a new Instagram account solely for my journaling projects.  I'd love for you to follow me @letterpaperpen if you're on Insta!  Here are some of last month's pages.

 

 

THIS is the journal I'm working with, which I found on Amazon for less than $10.  I like the paper because it doesn't bleed.  I would not recommend any  journal with pages less than 120 GSM, as they will bleed through.

 

 

And here are my pages this week...  This first one has a couple of printed photos, which I made a packing tape transfers with.  I love that they show through to the text beneath.  You can find links to lots of these free printables on my Printables Pinterest board .  These will help you get started if you are wanting to begin your own bujo (bullet journal).  I used the Darkroom Door Lots of Labels stamp set on both of these spreads.  It's a must have!  I shared a video on making Dollar Tree "vintage labels" on my Insta HERE.
