Free Printable Promises Digi Stamp for Rainbow Inspirational Cards

 

Hi friends!  Today I have a fun project to share with you.  I've been gifted some beautiful inspiration card stacks over the past couple of years and have noticed that them for sale in stores a lot too.  I came across a neat 4x6" wooden recipe storage box at the thrift store and snatched it up.  I finally decided to get busy creating some inspirational art to fill my box.  

For these cards I used some favorite Jofy stamps by PaperArtsy and hand lettered sentiments.  I've uploaded these Promises Sentiment to share with you.  You can download and print your own HERE.  (Note: it will look all black because there is no background, which will allow you to overlay the text onto an image if you so choose.  But on white paper it will show as black text.  :) )

You may remember my first two cards I created for Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps HERE.  Scripture stamps make it so much easier of course, but this time I wanted to do some hand lettering and really enjoyed the personal touch.  I used ProCreate on my iPad.

I made some layered bright gel prints for the bases and added stamping from JOFY92, including the scallops as "clouds."  The rainbow is from JOFY110 and I colored it with brush markers and water.  The tiny text is from Eclectica Mini 88 by Scrapcosy.  Now the fun part will be to trade these with friends and fill up my box!  I look forward to sharing more soon.

Free Christmas Collage Printables for December Daily

 

Hi friends! I'm excited to share some new collages with you today.  After much thought, I decided against doing a December Daily journal this year.  I want to free up my time to do more fun things like watch the good Christmas movies and make cookies with  my kiddos.  I LOVE DD and think it is a great project and hope you will find inspiration from my journal last year posted HERE.  I'd love to see links for yours in the comments and maybe by next year I will have my ducks in a row again.  For now, I've spent a small amount of free time working on these collage style cards.  I'm excited to share the links to these free printables with you to help you get your projects together too. 

Y'all know I'm from South Carolina, so this magnolia card really gives me the southern feels.  :)  I paired it with a gorgeous fussy cut deer.  Find the deer image HERE.  Find the vintage magnolia image HERE.  I used my photo storage software (Google Photos) to edit the image and intensify the colors/contrast.  Here is my version.  Right click to open in a new window to save.

 

I used lots of scrap Tim Holtz papers from years gone by for the backgrounds.  I enjoyed using this deer illustration, which I cut as a tag.  I also fussy cut THIS vintage holly postcard from The Old Design Shop.  This blog is a great resource, but it takes time to hunt through.  I recommend pinning each page's graphic to a Pinterest board so you can find it easier later.  HERE's my printable Pinterest board.

I love a good reindeer image for Christmas!  This one was a free Graphics Fairy download with lots of other great deer images on the post HERE.  I love to pair non-Christmas vintage postcard images, labels and postage with my more Christmassy images to make my collection work harder for me.  It takes time to collect images and to prepare your files and cut the printouts, but I love how I can customize my finished work with them!

Finally, my favorite card from this batch features a stunning red bird, the Pompadour Chatterer.  You can find him HERE.  And below is my edited version.  And the gorgeous Rowan berry image is another The Old Design Shop freebie found HERE.  I use recycled cardboard boxes to build up layers in my collages for sturdy finished work.  This year I went to prescored card blanks because I found making 5x7 cards was a big waste of cardstock.  I got two sets with matching envelopes on Amazon HERE.  I hope these gorgeous images will set your ideas a spinning and wish you a very merry Christmas crafting season.  Hugs, Autumn

Tim Holtz Farmhouse Aqua Pumpkins & Free Printable Fall Sentiments

 

Hi everyone!  I'm in full on fall cardmaking mode and I'm back to share a farmhouse inspired fall card made with the new Tim Holtz Pumpkin Patch Colorize dies and a fun freebie: a printable fall sentiment sheet.  Now, I'm not into Halloween, but I bought these dies because the base shape is such a great pumpkin image and I knew I could add my own dimensional touches.

I coated each chipboard die cut pumpkin with a thick layer of crackle paste and used my awl to scribe ridges into the wet paste.  I let it crackle, then painted over it with Broken China Distress Paint, using a baby wipe to remove color in the middle to create highlights.  Then I sprayed them with Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Spray, again blotting the centers.  Then I went over the ridges with watery Ground Espresso Stain Distress Ink, wiping away excess color, but letting it soak into the ridges.  I stained the stalks with more Ground Espresso.  I'm trying to work through my 5" stack of fall backgrounds I've made over the years, so I pulled one made with the Lumber 3D embossing folder.  It had layers of crackle paste and Distress Inks.  

 

I always have a hard time coming up with appropriate sentiments for my fall cards from the Tim Holtz products I have.  I almost always turn to old faithful, the Shadow Script #2 set, or more specifically the "thanks" die.  And then I've repeatedly wanted coordinating phrases to build on the thanks sentiment, and more specifically them to be brown to coordinate with my fall designs.  So I finally created a printable sheet of my own and am happy to share it with you.  These are similar to the Small Talk sentiment stickers.  I've added two sizes in black, brown and white so you can find one that fits just right into your designs and cutout lines to help guide you.  You can download the PDF HERE.  I layered the die cut thanks over a the Funky Wreath die and added a sentiment snippet from the free printable. I've shared loads of other freebies over the years so click HERE to see them all.

To finish the design, I dyed a variety of cuts from the Funky Foliage dies with Distress Inks in Weathered Wood, Ground Espresso, Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap and Tea Stain.  I layered them along the base of the pumpkins.  This was such a fun card to assemble and I hope it makes you smile today!

Free Printable Vintage Americana Ephemera Image Downloads

I'm super excited today because I've recently scored a batch of amazing vintage ephemera and have turned it into two free printable collage sheets for your artsy pleasure.  There are lots of tickets, milk caps and labels that I hope you will enjoy.  Both files are PDFs that you can download from my Google drive following the links below.  I use my printable images to fill my bullet journal, which I use for a written diary.  The page above was made by altering a PaperArtsy postcard that comes with every order.  I added stamping, used postage stamps, washi and printable ephemera.  The page below is more of the same, with some stamped Darkroom Door faux washi tape.  I shared a video tutorial on my Instagram page @LetterPaperPen.

Free Printable Santas and December Daily Part 2

 

Hello lovely friends!  I hope your December has been amazing.  Mine certainly has.  I'm sharing part 2 of my December Daily journal today, along with new free printable collage sheets for you!  You can download the PDF file for both pages HERE. These are such adorable vintage illustrations and I hope they will help you with your bullet journaling/craft projects.  I know I enjoyed using them on my spreads! 

I love to save envelopes to use for pockets, here for a gorgeous vintage inspired greeting card I received.  I layered the crying boy, so sad that Christmas won't come again until next year, with a vintage postcard and used washi tape to make a flap to add more journaling space.  The gorgeous floral image is by Junk With Steph on Etsy.  Steph is part of a neat Facebook group for junk journal makers called JJ with Joy and shares a lot of freebie printables, so make sure to join in.  :)

This page has a little printed vellum flap, a favorite way to add depth to my pages.  I used the Antiquity ephemera kit from Junk With Steph.  I find the cheapest vellum is the half price sale Paper Studio brand at Hobby Lobby.

Free Printable Christmas Words for December Daily

Hello friends!  I'm excited to share part one of my December Daily journal for this year.   I've been a busy bee this December and have had the most fun recording memories along the way.  I've used the Eileen Hull Journal die to make my cover and purchased travelers journal notebook inserts for my daily pages.

  

On some of my pages I used printed vellum from the Junk With Steph Antiquity Add On kit available on Etsy.  This is a fabulous set of ephemera to print.  Here I tucked a beloved photo into a printed vellum pocket.  

I also used lots of printable images, many of which you can find on my Pinterest board HERE, stamps by Tim Holtz, printed family photos and lots of washi tape.

You may remember seeing my cover two years ago on THIS post.  I really wanted to work in the journal I made that November, but on December 4 of 2018 we received Sydney's cancer diagnosis and let's just say life got crazy quick!  This year things are finally more normal than they have been in a while, so I decided it was time to finally DECEMBER DAILY!  Furthermore, I wanted to specifically record our family's traditions and some of my childhood memories as an heirloom for my kids.  Oh how I wish I had my Grandmother's thoughts on paper of the many stories she told me of her life growing up!!  While I can't change that fact, I can do my part to save our history going forward...  And I hope this little personal tidbit will encourage you to do the same.  :)

As promised, I have another freebie download for you.  I have truly enjoyed using these in my journal so far.  You can download the three page PDF with all of the colors HERE. Or you can download the files separately by color as a PNG file HERE for Red/White, HERE for Black/White and HERE for Green/Vintage.  I printed mine onto full sheet stickers using Avery 5165 labels.  I find these to be great for all sorts of sticker printing.
